Charlotte’s practice focuses on intellectual property matters and complex commercial litigation. Charlotte has represented and counseled clients in patent, copyright, and trademark matters in a wide range of fields, including pharmaceuticals, software, medical devices, photocopiers, and semiconductors. She represented corporations, individuals, and hedge funds in litigations and arbitrations involving contractual disputes, constitutional issues, fraud, and defamation.

Before joining Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes, Charlotte was special counsel at Kasowitz Benson Torres and an associate at Kirkland & Ellis.

Charlotte has represented:

  • TerraForm Power, the owner and operator of renewable power assets, in a contract dispute with two major private equity funds over a purported $231 million earnout payment.
  • A multinational utility in an arbitration against a consulting firm to recover $1 billion in business disruption and financial losses caused by its failed implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning software.
  • An investor in an arbitration with a magazine publisher concerning the publisher’s mismanagement of the business.
  • A real estate firm in pre-litigation disputes over copyright, trademark, right of publicity, and other IP matters related to their advertising campaigns and website technology.
  • A pharmaceutical company in multiple Hatch-Waxman patent infringement actions involving generic versions of diabetes and cancer drugs.
  • EnTrust Global, an investment firm, and its principal in a litigation seeking millions of dollars in damages for alleged copyright infringement of an industry newsletter.
  • Motivate International and NYC Bike Share, both bike share operators, in patent infringement and trade secret litigations with PBSC, one of their suppliers/competitors.
  • Former employees of a technology consultancy in the alleged theft of trade secrets and tortious interference of the organization’s business relations.
