Eric’s practice brings creative and efficient solutions to clients’ commercial litigation needs. He represents clients ranging from international corporations to individual company executives, handling matters such as patent and copyright infringement and product liability class actions.

Eric’s pro bono practice includes successfully obtaining asylum in immigration court, prisoners’ rights advocacy and representation, and advising on regulatory options for marine conservation through the Antiquities Act.

Prior to joining Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes, Eric served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Alsup in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. He started his career as an associate at Hogan Lovells.

  • The former general counsel of McKinsey in a RICO action alleging misconduct in connection with restructuring work performed in multiple bankruptcies extending over 20 years.
  • FieldTurf, the leading manufacturer of artificial turf fields, as co-lead counsel in an MDL and proposed class action related to the allegedly defective manufacture of thousands of fields.
  • An international automotive manufacturer in a patent infringement trial against an investment-backed patent troll.
  • A national supplier and retailer in defending copyright infringement and contract breach claims.
  • An international pharmaceutical company in affirmative patent litigation.
  • An international vegetable breeding company seeking to understand U.S. agricultural regulatory framework and enforcement options.
  • An international music platform seeking to understand legality of certain contemplated employee benefits under New York law.
