Partner Shai Schmidt Shares Insights on Liability Management at Columbia Law School and TMA Brazil’s Restructuring Conference

On Wednesday, October 8, partner Shai Schmidt served as a panelist at Columbia Law School and Turnaround Management Association Brazil’s 2025 Restructuring Conference in New York City. He joined a panel moderated by Professor Ed Morrison alongside Mark Kronfeld (Province), Paul Zumbro (Cravath), and Luiz Fabiano Saragiotto (Journey Capital), titled “Liability Management, Corporate Governance, and Out-of-Court Workouts.”

The conference brought together lawyers, investors, and Columbia faculty to discuss the most pressing issues in corporate restructuring today, including the impact of AI on restructuring, evolving U.S. Chapter 11 practices, and emerging trends in liability management.
